- What we have been trying to achieve for a really long time is to be able to provide customers in the Ballarat, Greater Ballarat region with access to quality products at realistic prices. What we are looking for is the customer that's actually after quality, not after a price-based solution. I reckon most homeowners want to put the system on, and then not have to worry about it. So the reason people invest in a quality system is to ensure they've got the lifespan, the output that they need, and the security and comfort of knowing that they're not up for any sudden bills. As a business, our primary set of customers are residential. We do have a number of commercial clients. When we delve further into that, we look at, we have both our off-grid and on-grid customers. Definitely say that all of our off-grid customers have chosen LG. None of them have actually picked a lower-end panel. I believe there are good reasons for all of our customers picking this. A, we're able to communicate the value that the brand brings. We're also able to communicate the performance that they can anticipate over the lifespan of the product, or for how long they intend to have it. We've also been able to quantify it using numbers to show that, you know, it's not just what we express as an opinion, but it is backed by numbers.

- So, at Fed Uni, they were looking to get the best that they could on the roof at the time, and that is the 300 watt LG's. We've installed 100 kilowatts, there or thereabouts.

- With commercial properties that are looking for solar, businesses in particular, what they are looking for is a certainty in what the power costs are going to be over a period of x number of years. They're also looking at what is their return on investment on a quality product, as opposed to a cheaper product? The return on investment on a LG is probably a couple of years more than a cheaper product. However, when you look at the lifespan of the product and what you're hoping to achieve at the end of that, the answer's pretty evident once you do the math on it. At the end of the day for businesses, what they're looking for is profitability in the long run. And if this contributes towards long-term profitability and gain, it's a no-brainer for them.

- You can't build something, and then just throw it on a roof. You have to go and look at what you're doing. You have to visit the site, because there so many things that get missed. It's really important to get out there, take a look what the customer's got, and make sure that you're doing the right thing by them.

- In every one of our installations, with each one of our team that actually goes out to the installation, we take pride in the work that we do. All of our parts and components are genuine. We use that because that is the best way to get a quality result that will last. We're not a large volume retailer or installer. But what we are is a quality focused installer that does a reasonable number of installs, and our aim primarily is to make sure that we do a fantastic job. And we're in it for the long run. With Ballarat Solar & Electrical, we try and encompass every single product that is of high quality. Yes, it does cost us a little more, but that's all right because part of our promise is that we will deliver a high quality system, and to deliver a high quality system, we do have to charge a little more.

- So I want to have confidence in what we're putting on the roof. That it is going to be there for a long time. Having the confidence in the product that we're working with. So with LG you know it's going to be there for 25 years genuine manufacturers, as opposed to spruked 25 year warranties, which are horrible, when they say it's just a performance warranty.

- We've been with LG since 2012, and look, it's been a fantastic ride so far, and I think for us and for our customers that have chosen LG, I think they've had a fantastic run.
