They shouldn't always look at the cheapest quote, they should always look at what they're getting for their money, because there's so many cheap systems getting sold now. You can buy a system and you know, if you're getting three to five years out of it and having to pull it off from the roof and start again, the return on investment is very poor. So I personally believe that if you go with a quality system, which is going to be on your roof with long warranties, you've got long warranties on the panels. you got long warranties on the inverter, that you've got guarantees. You're using reputable companies for the installation and for the materials, you are guaranteed that, you know, for the next 10 years, you're not going to have any problems.
Homeowners, pays to think about installing quality solar, because the other option is going to cost you in the long run. It's you know, you end up paying twice because the manufacturer probably won't be around. You'll be chasing some office, a virtual office, or someone in China to get a panel that you can't source anymore. And we see it time and time again, these people, systems are five, six, seven years old, and now they're stuck with, you know, a panels died, they can't replace it. So you really need to think about the quality of the panels and the inverter that you're putting in, and the quality of the installation, because as a package it's a long-term investment.
Should you just pick the cheapest quote if you're buying a solar power system?
