- The area we're dealing in, we've got the mountain behind us and we've got the sea at the other side of us. We do get a fairly good spread of challenges. The higher quality systems will give you a longer life that will generate more power and they'll generate better power over a longer period of time.

Today we're in Shoalhaven Heads, removing some existing panels off a roof and replacing them with a full new system. Quality old panels wasn't great, there was a few issues with the installation as well. The panels had micro-cracks in the cells which come up as snail trails, which is going to affect the efficiency of the panel, performance of the panel, backed up with a cheaper Chinese-brand inverter. They just weren't going to get anything out of the system and hence, wanting to pull that one off and replace it with a bigger system or a full system. We put an LG system model using the NeON2 355 plot panels. Given the layout of the system is going to be generating somewhere between on a good day, 30 to 34 kilowatts a day. The old system was generating, I think about five kilowatts a day. With a better quality product, we get better power production. That power production, it's going to go for a long time.

So if we were talking about a 25-year manufacturer's warranty, which is what LG puts out there, then they're not going to put a 25-year warranty on a product that's only going to last for six, seven, eight, 10 years. So again, the value for money is that the product is going to last a long time. You can buy the cheap stuff, you can buy the cheap stuff twice. You can buy the good stuff once, and you're still paying the same amount of money. So yeah, do it once and do it well. Considering most businesses are a nine-to-five-type business, solar is absolutely perfect for 'em, it gets daylight hours. People in business are there for the long haul. If you put good quality product in, then it's going to be there for the long haul as well. People in business understand the quality issues.

- There's a plethora of systems out there, and a plethora of panels available, and we found that the LG one stacked up with its warranty claims, its performance in low light, and also the ability to use optimizers. I think that is some of the key attributes to use of the LG panel, and also the LG company has been well-known and you know that they're there for many, many years to give you that warranty period.

- [Michael] Commercial customers really need to ensure that the goods, the services that they're getting from me are going to be sustainable, that it's going to work for their business. They understand that having good quality product that's got good support, good service, they're paramount to the investment that they're making.

- There's a lot of companies out there that want to provide solar to you and they are not locally-based. We want to support local people, predominantly because it gives us the ability to make that phone call to 'em locally and they'll be here within half an hour. Michael certainly has that degree of comfort when you talk to him, and by doing that he puts you at ease, we work through any issues and silliest questions that you might have are part of the process, he can come through and answer quite simply. You need to embrace solar, you need to do your research, and I think the main thing is find someone that you're comfortable with.

- As LG progressively changed panels, brought new panels out, I've put them on the roof so I can monitor the performance of the panels. I've got one lot of LG panels up there that are just on five years old, and they're performing pretty much every bit as good as the day they were installed. The thing that I really, really like with the LG product is that I do have one panel sitting close to a flue up there and you can see the difference in the power generation in the morning, but when you compare that panel to the others in the afternoon, the difference is very, very little. So, it just again, gives me confidence where I know there's a shading issue. I know that when I put the LG panels up there that they're going to take it. There's some other Chinese panels up there which I use to show people basically, yeah, if you want Chinese, this is what you're going to get. When you compare the LG panels to the others, then yeah, we're head and shoulders above.

- When you deal with the quality products, and you're dealing with quality companies, it's not hard to get that service. And that's why I deal with the people I deal with, and that's what my customers deal with me. So it's more about quality of product, longevity, and confidence, knowing that the product's going to be there for a long time.
