Installer choice is absolutely crucial to ensure that you've got a system that's installed properly and legally, but also a system that's installed in a way that it's not going to damage the panel, and that warranty will still be maintained if there is an issue. So a lot of cheap installers will contract the work out to whoever's the cheapest that week. That's one way of doing business, but it's never going to work out well in the long run. We've seen a lot of issues over the years. Unfortunately, I've seen fires, I've seen water leaks, I've seen installers that break tiles on roofs and just leave them. They don't tell the homeowner, or they might even just squirt a bit of silicone in there and hope that's going to be okay. And yeah, that'll last a couple of years, but eventually that silicone is going to break down and the roof's going to leak.
That's not how we operate, but unfortunately, some companies do. If you focus on price, you're generally going to get corners cut. You're going to get lower grade products. You're going to get lower grade installation. It doesn't cost a lot more to get a quality system. And a quality system is going to last you for an awful lot longer and keep performing month after month, year after year, for many, many years to come. And you're going to be saving a lot more money with no downtime. So installation is one of the most important things. You know, product choice is crucial, but installation is just as important, if even maybe even more so. We'd rather pay a bit more for our installation team. Everything's done in house because it enables us to make sure that the systems are installed to the absolute highest standard. And our guys are trained, they know exactly what we demand and what we require, and the installation levels are exceeding that.
