To somebody who says that they want to put in something cheap, it's at their own peril, okay? It really bothers me to see people who are supposed to be representing the best industry in terms of making a positive impact on the environment, where you have to deal with people putting in inferior quality product, inferior service, and giving the complete opposite reputation to an industry that is actually, most of the people in it are there to do a good thing, to do honest work, and make it a little bit better financially and environmentally for Australians.
Cheap and nasty panels and products in general, you get what you pay for, okay. Those products, they won't necessarily last very long. Generally, the companies that are selling them probably won't last very long. Your backup customer service, if that's not important to you, by all means, feel free to go with that. There's a lot of players in the solar market who are more about marketing than putting in quality product. They're there for a quick sale, but not necessarily there in the long run. All solar is not equal, and we have seen that throughout the market, and we've repaired solar that's not right, and fixed systems that are not right. And often those companies and those manufacturers are no longer here.
So if you want to have a product that you know will be here in the long run, and you want to have a company that's going to be here in the long run, Yes, it comes with a premium price, but it represents value. And I think people are looking for quality. It definitely comes through to us that people are after a quality installation. Unfortunately in this industry there are some cowboys out there and some rogue operators, which is not pleasant. We steer away from that market. We prefer that our customer's going to have a good product for a long period of time.
What are the problems you could expect if you buy a cheap or poor quality solar power system?
