So the brief was stage one was to do the 85kW replacing 44kW. So you wanted a panel that can maximise this return. Being that Mareeba is an hour west of Cairns, it does get quite hot there. And they're really worried about the temperature co-efficiency. He knew all about that. So that was a pretty easy brief for us to fulfil. We just went one step further with us to DC optimise, which he hadn't had much experience. But we showed him some existing customer sites and he read a fair bit about it, and was more than pleased to move forward with that. Even though, it was more than his initial budget. That and we applied for his other sites, that he knew that he needed benefits because he hadn't had solar, being the cafe, which consumes around 220 kilowatt hours a day. And we provide a 40 kilowatt solution for that to absorb at least anywhere between 75, up to 90% of his loads.
Yeah, so across the installations, there'll be 165 kilowatts of solar panels and inverters. It's going to be installed across the four sites, he's envisioning between the 44 cent benefit. And savings, that the stage one 85 kilowatts will have a payback period of less than two years, even with the high-end quality spec. The cafe and the pump house, which all go on the cafe and the workshop is expect to have a payback of about only three and a half years. So he's economically, he said it was a no brainer and Mareeba where the location is known that it's got signs everywhere. That is three hundred and sixty plus sunny days a year. Oh yeah, It's a definite winner he's very, very happy yet, and that all the systems haven't been fully installed throughout the sites yet.
What is the ROI for a 165kW solar power system at Jaques coffee Plantation?
