At the ground mounted system that we done is out at O'Connell, and it was done for a customer under the name of Michael. Michael obviously had a fairly high usage through the day, four pumps, hot water services and things like that. So he approached us in regards to having a system installed. And the requirement was, that he didn't want it on the roof of his house. So we came up with the proposal and put a ground mount system in, for him to offset energy uses on site.
The system that he chose was recommended by us. So he's got 36, 350 watt panels, and he's got two inverters split over the two phase supply that he's got on site. We've got a smart meter in the board, which has got wireless communications to the house for monitoring. So he wanted a high quality system that was going to be reliable. A customer wants to put solar on, obviously the first thing is, is to reduce their energy prices. Obviously energy prices are going to increase. They're looking at reducing that cost. They want a good return on investment. They also want the system to last, obviously one performance at the end of the day, out of the panels. And they should be expecting a system to last a lifetime. Their home is their castle. So they want to make sure that the aesthetics of the install represents their house as well.
What type of set up was created for Michael's ground mounted solar system in O'Connell NSW?
