I unfortunately got involved with a fly-by-night salesman who was a little bit pushy and didn't give me enough time to think it out. I had problems with the panels, I had problems with dealing with them being based in another state. It was difficult. The whole situation just dissolved into a mess. I was drawn to it because they were very specific about it being European panels and European inverter, not the Chinese one. However, on the date of installation, the inverter was from Austria, but the panels were from China. And when I asked I said, Oh! I thought they were supposed to be European. He said, Oh, no. They're just re-badged. and put me off. Big mistake.
First of all, they weren't cheap, they were quite expensive. But I thought I was buying quality, but I wasn't. I didn't get what I thought I was going to get. And dealing with an interstate company was the pits. I had issues with the cheap panels because over time, they stopped producing, like they should have. When we had them inspected visually, they had micro-cracks, they had crazing, they had blisters, and still the company refused any warranty claims saying, Oh, they work okay. without being there.
