Yeah so quality is everything, because quality leads straight to safety. So a lot of the instances out there with water in isolators, and faulty panels, and things like that, it all comes back to the quality. Quality of manufacturing, and also the quality of the installation. Quality is paramount. Solar's such a longterm play, people expect these to last 25 years. The higher quality panel you get, there's an expectation that the panel will last longer. And it's does. No different to a car. So you can buy a $20,000 vehicle, or you can go to a higher end $40,000 to $50,000 car. You can't expect those two vehicles to last the same distance. The same with panels, so spending that bit more, you can see the difference straightaway in the manufacturing process. So better quality, longer lasting, better return on investment, less hassles.
We wanted to get the solar out of the gutter, get some premium systems out there. Sure they cost a few dollars more, but our vision is to have long-term security for our customers. It locks in those savings over a longterm, they're not having to replace systems. They're not having to have systems down for extended periods. So it's just that peace of mind with a good solid brand name, solid warranties, and if something does happen, it gets sorted.
Why is it important for homeowners to invest in a higher quality solar panel?
