And then being a local fellow is a huge advantage for us too. There's plenty of solar companies around that can come and go from Sydney or Melbourne or Brisbane or wherever, but being a local supplier has meant a lot to us with local employees. And we knew he wasn't far away if we ever had an issue with a solar system. The panels he put up, I know they've got better and better over the years. We haven't had an issue at all with them, and when they set it up, the workmanship was great. One of the few sparkie's set up I've seen that actually pick up all their mess when they leave. So that was a nice benefit on the side.

I think it comes down to longevity, basically. We don't want to be mucking around. We're out in the bush here, we don't want to be mucking around with things failing on us. So always tended to look for better quality of machinery and supplies. It was a no-brainer for us. We'd rather buy something that we know is going to have a better lifespan. So obviously the solar power is free, the sunlight's here most days of the year. And as far as getting transmission of power, electricity out of the grid onto farm there's inherently a few obstacles there. We have troubles of issues with trees going over, wind storms knocking power lines over, one thing or another. We've got the backup with the solar, it's a no-brainer for us really.
